FUJIFILM (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. started its operations in Malaysia on 1st January 1991, as a local distributor for FUJIFILM products ranging from cameras, storage media, photo finishing products to films for FUJIFILM in Japan.

To achieve the aim of being a leading innovator of imaging and information products, FUJIFILM Malaysia took over the FUJIFILM branded products from its distributors, who for the past 25 years had been importing FUJIFILM products from Japan and Singapore.

Since then FUJIFILM Malaysia has become the main distribution and marketing arm for FUJIFILM products in Malaysia. Today, there are over 600 Fuji Image Plaza and FUJIFILM Digital Imaging Station outlets, which serve as FUJIFILM Malaysia's distributors throughout the whole Malaysia of which more than 50 are Bumiputra owned and managed. All these outlets enjoy not only FUJIFILM's professional name and image; they also receive advertising & promotion support, signage support as well as technical service back up support from FUJIFILM Malaysia and FUJIFILM Japan.

FUJIFILM was founded in January 1934 and is currently a leading international manufacturer, designer and marketer of consumer photographic, magnetic and other imaging products and systems.

Today, FUJIFILM has 23 principal overseas subsidiaries and 5 principal overseas principal offices located in the United States, Canada, Europe, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, North America, South America and Asia.

FUJIFILM Malaysia is principally engaged in distributing a whole range of photo and film related products from Japan. These products include:-

  • Recording media.
